STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS | Executive COACHING

Communicate with Clarity. Lead with Purpose.

Element 8 Leadership specializes in strategic communications and executive coaching for senior and rising leaders facing consequential moments in their organizations and careers.

welcome

As artificial intelligence changes how we work, our focus naturally turns toward what remains deeply human in leadership: Self awareness. Judgment. Presence. Trust. Accountability. The ability to listen. The courage to be clear.

My focus is helping leaders communicate with clarity and lead with purpose. This has been my role for more than 30 years working with CEOs and executive teams at multibillion-dollar global organizations during periods of unprecedented growth and change.

A Trusted Advisor to Senior Leaders

In his communications and coaching work, Geoffrey helps leaders clarify what’s truly at stake, see the situation more fully, and move forward with purpose and confidence.

This work often begins with a communications challenge, or a leadership question. In either case, the process is grounded in thoughtful partnership: careful listening, direct questions, experienced judgment, and focus on what matters most to you and your stakeholders.

Two Ways to Work Together

01

COMMUNICATE
WITH CLARITY

Strategic Communications

For moments when the message matters: leadership transitions, transactions, organizational change, stakeholder trust, media interactions, speeches, internal narratives, external positioning and branding, and issues that require judgment as well as words.

When clarity is key, Geoffrey helps leaders shape and deliver messages that engage employees, reassure stakeholders, and protect trust, especially in times of complexity or risk.

This support includes executive writing, thought-leadership content, speeches, news releases, message and scenario planning, positioning, branding, and issues management, grounded in sound judgment and emotional intelligence.

LEAD WITH PURPOSE

Executive Coaching

This is coaching for leaders who are entering a transition or want to initiate change in how they work or live. It is designed to provide clarity about goals and support in making big or small shifts.

If what used to challenge and excite you at work is not giving you the same sense of purpose, coaching may help you reconnect with what is most meaningful to you today.

Coaching is also helpful for those who want to become more intentional in how they lead, communicate, decide, and respond, especially during periods of transition, decision, pressure, or growth. Coaching provides greater awareness of how you show up and where to focus to improve your influence and impact.

This is confidential one-on-one coaching for senior executives and rising leaders. Geoffrey’s approach is grounded in strengthening self awareness and moving forward with confidence. His work is shaped by more than 30 years advising chief executives and their teams.

Testimonials
Five blue stars in a row.

“Geoffrey’s opening bid [is] mastery of his craft as a communicator: he’s attuned to the audience, and knows how to hew a concise message that powerfully furthers the strategy. But his value goes far beyond that, to sincere and compassionate dedication to the people he serves, and insight into the dynamics of decision-making that adds value and sophistication to the thinking of his most senior and experienced colleagues.”

Why Element 8

The Oxygen of Leadership

Oxygen, the eighth element, is essential, made of two linked atoms, and noticed most when it is missing.

Like oxygen, leadership is sustained by two essential qualities: clarity and purpose. Without them, even the most capable leaders struggle to align people, make sound decisions, or inspire trust.

Through communications, coaching and thought partnership, Geoffrey helps leaders communicate with clarity and act with purpose so their organizations and careers move in the direction they intend — especially in moments of uncertainty or change.

How This Work Is Different

Element 8 is intentionally small and senior-level. Clients work directly with Geoffrey, drawing on more than three decades of experience inside leadership teams where words and decisions, timing and trust all mattered.

The work brings together communications judgment, executive perspective, and coaching presence — capabilities that are often separated, but are most useful together.

Geoffrey helps leaders clarify what matters most, communicate it with conviction, and navigate complexity with steadiness and judgment.

Leading With Values

Values are not slogans or statements on a wall or website. They are the foundation of strategy, the lens through which decisions are made, and the source of credibility in times of change.

Leaders who work with Geoffrey understand that how they communicate—what they emphasize, what they leave unsaid, and what they stand for—ultimately determines their impact.
